I am Captain of a Golf Course in Esher we are unfortunately plagued by slow play, this is made worse by the fact we are a nine hole golf course.
Has anyone any thoughts of what can be done or what penalties we could impose and is there ideas of what may be working on other courses.

Putting up time messages has helped in our club. Example is that on the 3rd hole it has a list of 2, ball 3 and 4 ball times with a message like.
You should be here 22 minutes after teeing off. This might not be the exact wording.
